Chris is a trusted and experienced member of the Austin real estate community. He moved to Austin from Richmond, Virginia in 1997. Having lived here for 25 years, he has come to know and love this fast-growing, eclectic city! Chris has extensive knowledge of the Austin area, having been a real estate owner and investor in various parts of the city since 2000. Although his focus tends to be central Austin, Chris has enjoyed helping clients all over the greater Austin areas including Georgetown, Leander, Bastrop, and Kyle.
It’s all about helping clients! At the heart of his approach, Chris provides exceptional customer service and always strives to become a trusted advisor with his clients. Chris’ diverse background allows him to bring a unique set of skills to serve his clients. Working at Dell as an account executive taught him how to manage large scale, complex projects in a high-pressure environment. His work in process control in the semiconductor industry allowed him to understand the importance of gathering data and developing effective processes to produce consistent results. Chris balances this data driven approach by trusting his experience and creative nature to evaluate the best means to help clients achieve their goals.
More personally, Chris is married and has two amazing, hilarious kids. He has a wide range of creative interests. Chris was drawn to Austin by his deep love for Austin music, and he plays slide guitar and mandolin. He also enjoys photography, illustration, and smoking central Texas style barbeque. Having lost family members to cancer early in his life, Chris is passionate about being involved with charities to help find a cure for cancer.

Bought a Condo home in 2022 in Downtown, Austin, TX.
We used Chris Kirk to help us find our dream condo in downtown Austin. My husband and I live out of state full-time, but were looking for a second place in Austin. We were unsure of the areas and buildings, but Chris helped us navigate though all of it to find the perfect fit for our lifestyle. Chris made himself available every time we were in town and he and his team handled everything remotely once we submitted our offer. The whole closing process was easy and seamless. Questions were answered promptly and a lot of great recommendations were passed along to us. We have bought and sold a lot of real estate and this transaction was by far the easiest we have ever had!

We loved working with Chris Kirk. Being new to Austin, we were overwhelmed the differences in housing choices, and really came to depend on Chris' local knowledge. Chris really guided us through the process, and made great recommendations along the way. He was extremely responsive and we always felt like a priority. We ended up with a house we love, and Chris was able to negotiate a price we could agree on. I'm especially happy to have his tips on maintaining local properties, as well. Chris helped us look for a house in the Austin area and found an amazing property that we were going to close on in the North Austin area. Then at the last minute, work took us to San Antonio instead. Rather than ignoring us once we told him about our change of location, Chris pointed us to a great agent in San Antonio who helped us close on a new home this April. The entire time we worked with our new agent, Chris stayed in contact to see how things were going, from the time we started looking until we closed and even after. Even after we moved in, Chris made sure to reach out and see if there was anything he could help us with. All around professional and phenomenal guy!

Chris Kirk has been working with us in the Austin area looking for a home for the past several months and was there working diligently every step of the way. From looking at and scheduling viewings and working with other relators and business to help get us what we wanted. Chris was always knowledgeable and compassionate with our needs and fears, and never once left us hanging and if he said he was going to do something or check on it, it was always taken care of. Communication was out standing and he always made sure we understood what was going on and was willing to answer any question we had. Consulted me on buying or selling a home in TX 78669.
My husband and I are considering selling our house and purchasing a new one. We were referred to Chris last year by a friend who told us we would like him. That was the truth! Chris has given us very knowledgeable guidance in preparing our home to sell, without making us feel pressured to make a move until we are ready. He has been extremely responsive to our questions about other properties, and has quickly answered any questions we had, going out of his way to contact realtors in other communities around Texas and paving the way for us to view any property that caught our eye. He has also been diligent about looking out for properties that he thought we might be interested in.

When I asked Chris Kirk to assess my house’s value, I couldn’t believe all the work he put in or the presentation he made for me about my property! He was thorough, thoughtful, and he listened to my concerns about selling. Although I didn’t sell at the time, I called him when I was considering purchasing a property. Again, he was thorough and presented me with pros and cons. In the end, although he would have received profit from my purchase, he looked at the big picture and advised me not to go forward with the property. Chris is highly professional and I know I can call on him for his integrity and honest communications. As a retired person, I can also say he was mindful that my financial decisions are not necessarily the same as his younger clients. I strongly recommend Chris Kirk as your realtor. He’ll do right by you.
